Star Wars Horror Novel Gets A Title!

Our buddy Zee Zee of SWBooks.co.uk sent over news that Joe Schreiber's upcoming Star Wars horror novel now has a title according to Sue Rostoni on the SW.com message boards. And the title is...Deathtroopers! Oooooh! Spooky!

"Just updated my blog with the following:

November 1, 2009 - Paperback: Untitled horror novel *by Joe Schreiber takes place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back and should be read under the covers by flashlight.

*We have a title! DEATHTROOPERS and it's now placed just before A New Hope."

UPDATE: Author Joe Schreiber talks about the announcement of the title, Deathtroopers, on his blog. Excerpt below:

"I had the time of my life on this one, I have to say. I'm doing the final edits now, and I've tried to make it into exactly the kind of book you'd want to read if you were a child of the 70s who grew up with the original Star Wars trilogy and really digs horror in the vein of The Shining and Alien, with a little dose of William Gibson mixed in."
