Star Wars Celeb On Greeting Cards Posted By Mike on March 1, 2008
Our friends in the Tenuto family, sent over the follwing news:
"Donruss, who recently released the sold out card set Americana, have announced a sequel set available this April.
The set is called Celebrity Cuts and features a variety of cards of Hollywood icons.
The set will feature "cut" signatures (these are from checks or contracts of celebrities that have usually passed away and they are nicely formatted into the card itself), new cards with new signatures, and re-releases of famous cards from previous sets that feature new signatures.
Star Wars is represented with atleast two cards, probably more as the checklist is revealed.
Carrie Fisher signs one of the "Movie Star" cards featuring Leia from Return of the Jedi. Another fascinating card is the dual signed "Stardom" card featuring Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher signatures.
