O-2D7 tells us more about changes made to early versions of the script and modifications since the production left Australia last summer:

In one scene, Obi-Wan is chained up dodging the Acklay's claw. Anakin is fighting the Geonosis Arena Monsters trying to save the day and in one shot is even seen boldly approaching the Reek, using the Force. He is calming the giant horned beast, and at one point he is even sitting on it! As the beast charges, again Anakin uses his special abilities to slow the Reek down before it can do any more harm.
