Spoiler junkies have heard quite a bit about the opening sequence to Episode II, and like all Star Wars movies it is going to open with a bang. The stunning details of this sequence comes from prequel insider Sith Interceptor who gives us a detailed synopsis of the opening scene:

After the opening scroll crawls into infinity, we finally see the massive amber planet of Coruscant. Soon after, a couple of Naboo Fighters fly overhead toward the planet, followed by the large chrome Nubian Wing.

The ships then manouver their way through the capital as dawn spreads it light over the massive buildings and infrastructure.

The Naboo spacecraft navigate their way to a clover-shaped landing platform where the fighters land on one 'leaf' and the Wing lands on the central and largest 'leaf'.

Also on the landing platform are a small group of dignataries awaiting to greet the Senators. One of these is a well dressed Jar Jar Binks, alongside one of the Senators handmaidens, Dorme.

Captain Typho jumps down from the wing of his fighter and approaches the female pilot of the other fighter.

"We made it. I guess I was wrong, there was no danger at all."

A ramp lowers from the Wing, and Senator Amidala, Verse, and some Naboo guards and troopers descend and make their way towards the meeting party. At the foot of the ramp, there is a sudden explosion and a huge flash of light, and everyone is sent sprawling on the ground. The Naboo pilots eventually run over to where Amidala lays dying. The female pilot kneels next to Senator Amidala and removes her helmet revealing none other than - Senator Amidala / Padme.

Here, a few tearful words are spoken before the decoy, Corde, dies in her arms. Upon surveying the surrounding destruction, Typho orders Padme, and the other survivors, to get to safety.
