Randy Stradley took to the Dark Horse boards to formally discuss the end of Legacy, considering the news broke while he was away attending Wonder-Con. Apparently, we weren't supposed to learn of the final issue so soon and internal miscommunications allowed the news to be provided in Dark Horse's July solicitations. Randy goes on to praise John Ostrander, Jan Duursema and everyone else who worked on the series citing that the decision had nothing to do with a lack of faith in those involved. The creative team is by no means "out of work." That all now leads to the juicy part to get your customary Star Wars speculation machines up and running. As for what's to come...
"No door closes without another opening, and to those longtime readers who pointed out that it was not likely that I would end Legacy without having some replacement planned, I thank you for your confidence. Trust me, it will be rewarded.
I am not going to compound the mistake of the early announcement of Legacy's end by rushing to tell you what is coming next. That information will be revealed in the fullness of time. So, take heart, and feel free to speculate on what the future holds. Just don't get too invested in your speculations because, I guarantee, you wont guess what's coming next."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
