Random Weekend Star Wars Fun (Dec 22&23) Posted By Mike on December 23, 2007
Happy Holidays Star Wars fans! For those of you at home and checking out the inter-web this weekend instead of last minute shopping, we bring you the following:
Our buddy Tom D. send us a link to the "The 12 days of a Star Wars Christmas". Click here.
Our friend Gerald Home (Tessek and a Mon Cal officer in Return of the Jedi) reminds us of "Star Wars : All I Want For Christmas Is Oola", for those who missed it last year. Click here.
Finally, click here for some holiday cheer from the one and only Darth Vader. I found this one over at the Official Starwars.com Blog. Lets also take the time to express thanks to the folks over at the Official Starwars.com Blog for highlighting our mention in Entertainment Weekly this week. (See Dustin's post here and the SW Blog post here) We look to the Official Starwars.com Blog often and wish the contributors a Happy Holiday and cheers to some fun Star Wars posts for the New Year.
UPDATE:Star Wars and bagpipes. Does it get any better than that? Click here.
The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker Posted By Dustin on August 27, 2008: Many of you probably don't know Photographer Kim Simmons, but you will recognize his photography of vintage and modern Star Wars collectibles. He has opened up a website right here where you can now order prints and posters of his nostalgic photography so many of us grew up with over the years. We (The Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club) had Kim as a VIP guest at this year's Summer Social and I must say the prints he has are amazing to see first hand!
Disturbance At The Lars Homestead Boxed! Posted By Curto on August 26, 2008: For your viewing pleasure, here's a new boxed photo of the Disturbance at the Lars Homestead set. This set includes repacks of Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru, a Sandtrooper, a moisture vaporator, an all-new baby womp rat, and the Lars domicile! Anyone who thinks this set is inspired from the legendary fan-film TROOPS....you're not alone.
