ROTS DVD : Wal-Mart Bonus

Posted By Dustin on September 19, 2005

Rebelscum reader "Russs" sent us this link to Walmart.com where it's clearly visible that consumers who purchase Revenge of the Sith on DVD will get a bonus DVD. The DVD is titled "The Story of Star Wars" but the text from the image is really not legible. If anyone has more detailed information, please drop me a line! We should also start hearing about other in store promotions, so be sure to check back here for more info soon!

Well soon after I posted thsi news it seems Wal-Mart added the following text to the DVD description:

Walmart Exclusive Bonus Disc. Includes R2-D2 & C-3PO's Chronicles Of Luke And Anakin Skywalker. Almost 60 minutes of additional content.

Thanks to EVERYONE who emailed that in ;-)

I also wanted to point out that Ron Brothers sent in this snipet with his opinion of what the bonus DVD content is.

If this is what I think it is, do you remember a narrative summary of Anakin & Luke's life by the droids which was playing in Wal-mart when the Episode 2 toys were first released? It included footage from all episodes (with the obvious exception of Episode 3) which summarized the Skywalker saga.

So make what you will of it for now, soon as we hear the official word we'll post more news. But for now it looks like an extra 60 minutes of Star Wars, which is good news in my book!
