Djphilla saw this story on the Evening Standard website and it includes part of the interview with Natalie Portman in Vanity Fair.
The Episode II trailer plays up the racier elements, featuring Amidala beseeching Anakin: "Please don't look at me like that," while Anakin confides to Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor): "Just being around her again is... intoxicating." It should be noted that the Jedi are meant to be celibate.
"This is George's Titanic, I think. Dark, but a love story," said Portman in an interview with Vanity Fair. Lucas has a different opinion. "It's a love story in the Star Wars tradition," he told the magazine, which photographed the pair at Lake Como in northern Italy, where some of the scenes in the movie were shot.
"I'd call it a love haiku rather than a love sonnet. It's shorter than a traditional love story and thinner than a traditional love story," he added.
To go with the raunchier theme, Portman's Phantom Menace costumes have been traded in for a more clinging, sensual number. "This is my turn to be revealing outfit girl," she said.
Makes an interesting reading, take a look!
Update: There's a larger pic of the Vanity Fair cover, without the type, at the bottom of the empireonline.co.uk story.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
