Play As A Rancor In Kinect Star Wars

While excitement is building for The Clone Wars Season 4, Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray, and Star Wars: The Old Republic, let's not forget that the 2011 holiday season will also be bringing us Kinect Star Wars. GameInformer.com lives up to it's name by informing us that the mighty Rancor will be a playable character in the upcoming motion-controlled came. Game Informer's Jeff Cork logged some time with a Kinect Star Wars rancor level recently and reports that the rancor's objective is rather simple. Destroy lots of stuff before time runs out. Specific targeted objectives pop up occasionally and you can totally pick people up and eat them. The demo level was set on Tatooine though more locations and even EU-inspired rancor variants can be expected as well. These variants will even include a flying rancor. Tempering excitement for the newly announced mode is that Cork does report that there are still some motion control issues. Click here for the full report with a number of screenshots.
