Star Wars Fans, This is just a note to let you know that: Yes... We have received & heard your requests to bring in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
Yes - we have SEEN a clip of the re-formatted film at a recent Giant Screen Theatres Association meeting - and think that this is the way this film SHOULD have been displayed the first time around... -and- yes! We will be opening this film at Celebration! Cinema's IMAX Theatre on November 1.
Sorry for the delay in responding to your e-mails. The release of this film took us by surprise. Having seen several spectacular glimpses of the 70mm re-formatted version, we are excited to be bringing it to our theatre. Due to the short timeline, and the lack of national advertizing, we hope that you will indeed come - and help us by getting the word out about IMAX's Attack of the Clones.
Thank you for your interest in and patronage of Celebration! Cinema's IMAX Theatre. I'll be updating our web page this week... please check it out if you wish to buy tickets on-line or need directions to the theatre: www.celebrationcinema.com/imaxmatters

Just thought I would pass along this e-mail I received today from the IMAX theater in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
"Star Wars will show here in Myrtle Beach starting November 1. Please check our web site for exact times www.myrtlebeachimax.com."
Great news for us folks down south. For anyone wanting to make the trip, the theater is located off of 21st Ave N, inside of the Broadway At The Beach Entertainment/Shopping complex.
Ray Edwards alerts us that the OmniMax Theater at the St. Louis Science Center is not formatted to display AOTC.
Gordon Stalans from the Tennessee Aquarium Imax Theater in Chattanooga, TN confirms they do not know whether or not they are playing AOTC in large format. Looks like they are still in negotiations. Fans in the area may want to rally up some support. Also, this IMAX theater is the only one listed in Chattanooga.
