More Details Regarding Hamill On Chuck

We first reported that Mark Hamill would be appearing as a villian in the season 5 premiere of the NBC show Chuck when the news broke at San Diego Comic-Con. We presented a small update in Star Wars is Everywhere: Episode XLVII that noted Hamill's character will have a French accent. Now, per an August 1st IGN interview with Chuck stars Zachary Levi (Chuck Bartowski) and Joshua Gomez (Morgan Grimes) at an NBC Television Critics Association party, we learn that Chuck's friend Morgan will do battle with the former Jedi. Here's the quote from Josh Gomez:

"Mark Hamill is a baddie! As the Intersect, I fight the baddie. That means I'm fighting Luke Skywalker! Are we putting these numbers together? I go, 'Wait a minute� I get to punch Luke Skywalker tomorrow?!' There's some magic tomorrow."

Filming began yesterday on August 2nd and the full IGN article includes more of Zachary and Josh geeking out over Mark Hamill being on the show.

The small SWIE: Episode XLVIII update, that I noted above, included a TVGuide.com video of the Chuck stars displaying their excitement. For your convenience, that video can also be viewed below.

UPDATE: Looks like Mark Hamill is having a good time on set with Chuck actors Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez per this video demonstrating that Hamill still knows how to tap into The Force.
