More AOTC IMAX Confirmations Posted By Thomas on October 8, 2002
Skywlkr91 chimes in:
Just checked out the Web site for The Tech Museum in Downtown San Jose which has an IMAX theater (www.thetech.org/imax) and they have AOTC coming Nov. 1 with tickets going on sale Oct. 15. Spread the new for all South Bay Area fans!
The following from Mawhonic:
IMAX has been CONFIRMED to be showing at the Virginia Marine Science Museum in Virginia Beach, VA. I received the following email:
"Good news. They have accepted our proposal! Now we have to set a schedule. We do know that we will be showing Star Wars in the late afternoons and evenings. We are thinking of a mid-night madness on Fridays and Saturdays in addition to regularly scheduled shows. Do you think people would be interested in that?
The opening date is November 1. We should have the schedule set by the end of next week.
Thanks for your interest."

The web site is www.vmsm.com/imax.html. They have not posted anything on the site about AOTC.

Subject: Re: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
"Thank you for taking the time to contact Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village, and for your interest in our schedule of upcoming IMAX Theatre films.
You will be pleased to know that due to the excitement surrounding IMAX's new DMR technology, we have now made some adjustments to our IMAX schedule and have decided to bring the next DMR release, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, to the giant screen at Henry Ford Museum!
The film will open at Henry Ford Museum on November 1st, and will have a running time of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Specific showtimes, as well as the length of the film's engagement, are still being determined. Please continue to check our website (located at www.hfmgv.org) for the latest updates, or to call (313) 271-1570. In addition, all of the films currently being shown at the Imax Theatre will be maintained throughout the run of Attack of the Clones, so be sure to join us for a presentation of Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West, Space Station 3D, Shackleton's Antarctic Adventure, or Apollo 13 as well.
Thanks again for your interest. We hope to see you soon at the IMAX Theatre!"
Sincerely, Marsi Roche Visitor Services Supervisor Henry Ford Museum/IMAX Theatre
Sean Lee has bad news for Pensacola, FL fans:
I just wanted to drop you guys a note to say that the Pensacola, FL Naval Aviation Museum IMAX will NOT be showing Episode II. I confirmed this over the telephone today (10/7/02). Glad to hear that south FL seems to have it in spades, but the Panhandle is out of luck. B(
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
