Miss USA Talks Star Wars In Interviews

After we learned that recently-crowned Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella is a Star Wars fan, it was only a matter of time before the topic started appearing in interviews. Sure enough, Ms. Campanella has discussed her love of the galaxy far, far away in a few interviews since receiving the title.

First, there was the Access Hollywood segment where Campanella answered a few Star Wars trivia questions posed by the entertainment show's resident fan. Then, she discussed her fandom in an appearance on VH1's Big Morning Buzz. In a third interview, this time with ThePageantGuy.com, Campanella tackled Star Wars subjects like "Wars vs. Trek?", what color her lightsaber would be, and which film was her favorite. "Every time I have asked her [about Wars vs. Trek] her response is �Star Wars!!� at ear-numbing 120 dB. Don�t believe me? Watch the video below.

OK, I�ll admit I am Star Wars fan � not a huge one � but nothing compared to Alyssa. In Wookie-speak, I�m a Padawan to Alyssa�s Jedi Knighthood."

Campanella has also tweeted about her interest in Star Wars. In the past few days, she's expressed her love for the Family Guy Star Wars spoofs, alerted her fellow nerds to a Spike TV Star Wars marathon, and teared up while watching Revenge of the Sith. She also retweeted @StarWars to say that she's been a fan since she was five.
