The Marin Independent Journal has posted a review of KOTOR II. Here's a clip from their summary:

Like its predecessor, "Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords" is an incredibly deep, top-caliber role-playing adventure and a far more engrossing "Star Wars" prequel than anything you'll see in theaters. It's pretty long, and its sheer number of branching story paths make it endlessly replayable (unlike, say, "Fable").

Some of the shine has worn off the "Knights" game engine, but even in a year crowded with high-profile sequels, this is among the best.
