View Poll Archives MST3k Star Wars Riffs Posted By Mike on November 1, 2008 Christpopher of RiffTrax sent over the following: "As a daily reader of TFN and now an employee of RiffTrax, I wanted to call to your attention the release of several Star Wars related riffs that may be of interest to your readership. I recall RiffTrax having been previewed on TFN several years ago, and since then we’ve been hard at work poking fun at films of all sorts! Subsequent to the end of Mystery Science Theater 3000's television run, Mike Nelson and his comedic cohort have reunited to "riff" (comedic comments made during a film) the latest and greatest Hollywood blockbusters. This is accomplished through the release of DRM-free MP3 tracks that synchronize with the playback of a given film to reproduce the MST3k experience. Mike, Kevin and Bill (Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot from MST3k) have released riffs of Episodes I-III and the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. On each release’s page is a button that says “Free Sample” that can be used to play a clip from the riff synchronized with video from its respective film.
