Lucas #15 one EW's Power List Posted By Thomas on October 11, 2002
Left My Heart In Dagobah chimes in:
George Lucas ranked #15 in Entertainment Weekly's(Oct. 18 issue) list of the 101 most powerful people in entertainment.
"He may have made the industry's first-ever $300 million disappointment (Star Wars: Episode II), but he's still a Force. His warning that III will be the series' darkest and least crowd-pleasing may be bad news for a franchise already slightly on the wane. The real phantom menace is the sluggish economy's drag on the digital-effects industry. His Industrial Light & Magic shut its commercial division due to dipping ad sales. But ILM's new digital feature division (now circling Universal's Curious George) could make it another Pixar. Talk of Indiana Jones IV has whipped fans into a frenzy."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
