Lawrence Noble's Yoda Heart Posted By Mike on December 19, 2010
Starwars.com reports on a Yoda Heart created by Lawrence Noble for a great cause...
"Sculptor/illustrator Lawrence Noble, who's created numerous Star Wars and other life-size bronzes gracing the grounds of Lucasfilm's Presidio and Skywalker Ranch headquarters, was recently asked by the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation to create one of this year's "large" hearts for their 2011 "HEROES & HEARTS" fundraiser. The annual event benefits San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, whose mission is to augment public funding by raising private support to further improve patient care and comfort at the San Francisco General Hospital.
The heart design, which depicts illustrations of Yoda on both sides, is titled "There is No Try", inspired by the Jedi Master's line in The Empire Strikes Back. "Yoda has a great heart," says Noble, "and that line seems quite appropriate to this cause."'
