Steve Sansweet recently spoke to Now Playing Magazine on the future of Star Wars. Here are a couple of paragraphs:

"We are looking into all kinds of things for the future," Steve Sansweet, Lucasfilm's Director of Content Management and Fan Relations, recently told Now Playing Magazine. "We're looking for television clearly: Animation [and] we are looking into live action television."

"We will keep Star Wars alive and well as long as there is an audience, which we think is an indefinite horizon," he says.
