Fan website The Unofficial Clone Wars Site has an interview up with Clone Wars novellist Karen Miller.

She talks about her enthusiasm for the original movie in 1977, her fondness for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Bail Organa, and how to tie a new novel in with other stories. She also discusses her non-Star Wars writing, and how aspiring authors can (try and struggle) to get in on the act.

Although written by Star Wars newcomer Karen Miller, Karen is herself an established author with two Stargate tie-in books and eight original novels published. Her first novel, The Innocent Mage, was a finalist in Australia's Aurealis Awards for Excellence in Speculative Fiction (Fantasy Division), while two other of Karen's books, Empress (of Mijak) and The Riven Kingdom, were selected for The Tiptree Award Honor List, the annual gender-exploring science fiction literary prize.
