JC Topic: JarJar's Fate in Episode III Posted By Thomas on October 15, 2002
This week's JC topic features a thread from the EP3 non-spoiler forum. Speculation on JarJar's fate and some mixed reactions:
Bresson Will you cheer when Jar Jar gets iced? Ahmed Best has already says he's back. Jar Jar is nowhere to be found in the original trilogy. Do we dare hope that Jar Jar gets blasted? Will the audience cheer? Actually, I found Jar Jar annoying in MENACE but rather likeable in CLONES. Maybe in small doses he's not so bad. Or maybe I'm just getting soft in my old age. Nonetheless, I may shed a tear when J.J. gets iced.
BlackPool I don't think Jar Jar is going to get iced, I'm sad to say. He's a part of the Senate now. Technically his story is over unless Lucas decides to add something new heaven forbid. But now the senate's story is Jar Jar's story. Nuf said.
YodaJeff Perhaps Jar Jar will move to Alderaan, and all will be explained in the beginning of ANH. Either that, or he will die tragically, fighting for what he believes in (or perhaps what he is led to believe in). Maybe he will be partly responsible for Padme's (supposed) death, and Anakin will have another fit, and Jar Jar will be dead. EDIT: I also just thought of the possibility of Jar-Jar dying while protecting Padme or something. He seems like the type of guy who wouldn't think twice about taking a bullet for a friend.
Darth_Clonathe Either he dies with a planet because of the Death Star...or someone shoots him. I hope the Death STar thing..so I can watch A New Hope...and CHEER when Alderan is destroyed.
stinrab I'm pretty sure I'll cry when/if he dies. He's the most innocent, trusting and loving character in the whole saga. It'll be sad when he's gone.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
