Posted By Mike on June 29, 2008 See the blurb below from the gossip section of the New York Daily News website regarding a possible ILM venture on Broadway. "George Lucas could be bound for Broadway. We hear Whoopi Goldberg has been talking with Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic about collaborating on "Bricktop — Queen of the Night." Whoopi recently teamed with producers Paul Lambert and Jonas Neilson on the musical about the fabled Parisian cabaret owner, Ada (Bricktop) Smith. Lucas "could do things Broadway has never seen before," a source tells us. "They're talking about playing with Cubist images and jazz from the '20s."'
