Instant Clone Army Posted By Dustin on October 28, 2002
Fans wanting to build up their action figure armies of Clone Troopers, there is an option in the form of custom made pirate figures. And the best part is, they're sold by the bagfull!
Not much is known right now about these figures, although they are not official Hasbro toys. These seem to be appearing at toy shows right now, and they appear to originate from Hong Kong. Jason reports finding them at the Kane County Toy Show in St. Charles, IL this past Sunday, and sent along the above image. Forum member "darthgary" reports finding them at the Cheshunt model fair in the Uk last week, which is being discussed in our forums in this thread. The price is around 25 dollars, although this most likely will vary at different locations.
These bagged figures are sold in sets of ten (five figures in two different poses) and include articulated head and arms. The first pose shows the trooper aiming his weapon at an unseen enemy, while the second pose is more of a marching one. The arms appear to be removable, so fans can mix-and-match to create aletrnate versions as well. both figures include a weapon as well. Each figure is also in scale to the Hasbro line, although these are NOT Hasbro toys.
You can check out more images of these sets on the following auctions, as previously reported in today's ebay today feature. Just click on the thumbnails below for even more images.
Rebelscum readers may recall that a Stormtrooper army builder kit was found back in May (see this report) containing 5 Commtech figures that were unassembled. An interesting coincidence?
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
