Jedi Kindergartner was one of many to alert us to Dark Horizons for a report they had this morning that contained some very intriguing reports we've not heard yet, rumored to have appeared in this morning's Australian papers. Here's the clip, those avoiding spoilers should skip the blank space below:

The Sun-Herald reported that ex-Rugby League footballer Ian Roberts filmed a minor part in the movie when it was shooting here in Sydney, whilst actor Jack Thompson told radio station 2DayFM that the backstory of his character involves him losing his leg - so throughout the film he gets about in a futuristic wheelchair.

Ian Roberts? Interesting new name - we'll check for pictures of him shortly. And losing a leg? First we've heard of that, though losing limbs is definitely a recurring theme in the movies. This is the first we've heard of either of these, so we'll put our sources on the prowl to see what we can come up with.
