IMAX Poster Available to Insider Subscribers

Posted By Dustin on October 22, 2002

Interested in owning that terrific theatrical poster for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones -- The IMAX Experience? We've got good news for Insider subscribers...

New press release from the Fan Club regarding the awesome IMAX Yoda poster that appeared on the official site not long ago (seen here)...

Attack of the Clones IMAX? Poster For Sale to Star Wars Insider? Subscribers

October, 2002 Bellevue, Washington. Fans who are current subscribers to Star Wars Insider magazine can purchase the Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones IMAX poster directly from the Official Star Wars Fan Club.

The poster, which will be available in limited quantities, features a giant Yoda striding across North America, brandishing his lightsaber. Created by artist David McMacken for the theatrical release, these are the same striking, double-sided posters that will be on display in IMAX theatres across the U.S. and Canada when Attack of the Clones opens November 1.

The Official Star Wars Fan Club will ship the posters with collectors? standards in mind. Posters will be packed using real white-glove handling, with added protection to prevent damage. They will be shipped rolled in round tubes, then packed with bubble wrap inside triangular mailing tubes. Posters will be shipped priority to purchasers in the U.S., Canada, and in most other countries.*

"Paizo Publishing is very proud to offer this item," said Vic Wertz, Director of Product Development for the Fan Club. "This the first time that Paizo is able to bring a unique product like this to our customers. It's also great that this is the same double-sided Star Wars theatrical poster that will be in the theaters." Double-sided posters are printed with the front image reversed on the back to make them especially vivid when they're placed in a backlit display, such as a theatrical lightbox.

The IMAX poster will be available only while supplies last. To order, Insider subscribers can go to http://www.paizopublishing.com/imax.shtml. Posters are $24.95 each plus shipping (Shipping rates: US: $7 for one +$1 each additional poster, Canada: $17 for one +$1 each additional poster; Foreign:* $25 for one + $1 for each additional poster). Subscribers can also mail their checks or money orders (in US funds), or their credit card information to Star Wars Fan Club IMAX Poster, PO Box 469122, Escondido, CA 92046-9633. In order to allow more fans to own this very special poster, the Official Star Wars Fan Club has limited orders to 10 per subscriber.

The posters will be sold only through the Official Star Wars Fan Club and Musicland stores.

*Subscriptions to Star Wars Insider and associated memberships in the Official Star Wars Fan Club, and sales of the Attack of the Clones IMAX poster, are available in all countries except Austria, Benelux, Canton Ticino, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Vaticano. Star Wars fans in these countries should check with their local Official Star Wars Fan Clubs.

Paizo Publishing? LLC directs the Official Star Wars Fan Club? and publishes Star Wars Insider? magazine under license from Lucasfilm Ltd. Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
