Home Made Star Wars Stocking Posted By Mike on December 30, 2007
Friend of TFN, Nancy L., sent in the following:
"Happy Holidays! I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan, and so is a special little friend of mine. A special SW-themed gift I made for him is why I'm writing, just in case you might want some holiday fan-related news that readers can also make, too. Young Nick is a preschooler, but his family are "old School" SW fans, so I wanted to make him something special for the holidays, particularly since the little "Jedi" is named after the big guy himself, jolly Ole' St. Nick. The Christmas stocking I made for him is bigger than he is at over a yard long, and is covered with some of the saga's most recognized favorite characters. The individual character patterns I used were actually adapted from pumpkin carving stencil patterns featured for free on www.starwars.com. With the help of spray adhesive and a really good pair of scissors it was remarkably fast to make.. I'm really proud of the Santa stocking, and that as well as I admit the possibility that Nick might possibly see it on a website would be a fun holiday gift! Thanks for running such a great fan inspired site!"
You're welcome Nancy and Happy New Year to you and yours!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
