Help An Indy Fan & TFN Friend Get To LA Posted By Mike on March 26, 2008
Our friend Mithell Hallock of the Indy Marketing Group has put out a call for help and since he regularly helps keep us up to date with all the Indy news out there (and he just seems like a really nice guy) we wanted to do our part. See below:
"Here's your chance to help win a the biggest 10 year old kid (who is actually 41), give his son a real treat on his 10th birthday on May 18th. When I was a kid, my Dad always had a tradition of taking me to any movie I wanted on my birthday, year after year! He sat through cartoons space movies and monster movies and never said a word (he slept a lot through them though). The last time he and I ever went out to a movie was to see "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" on my birthday on July 10, 1989.
Now almost twenty years later, the newest "Indiana Jones" movie is having a premiere on May 18th, my son Spencer's 10th birthday! Now, my Dad has been gone for many years, but I want to keep that father/son tradition going by trying to win tickets to the huge Hollywood premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". And you can help by just clicking on a video/trailer link on my myspace.com page!
Come on...
I didn't get the extra part in "Indiana Jones 4" when they were filming in New Haven last year, but I was in Entertainment Weekly last June as Number 1 Indiana Jones fan with my kids, I was in the April 2008 issue of Vanity Fair, the soon to be released "Indyfans" the documentary, and became a writer for www.TheRaider.net (voted No.1 by Entertainment Weekly as Best of the Web December 2007) and the Indy-Cast podcast (Number 55 on iTunes Top 100). So, you can see these old movies are fan favorites at our house!
All I want is to see this movie at the L.A. premiere in style with my son Spencer, on his 10th Birthday on May 18th!
Click on the Indy Widget on my www.MySpace.com/mitchellHallock page that I set up and click on the Indiana Jones trailer video and help us out!"
