JediRecon tells us that Hayden's team has withdrawn from Eco-challenge! Canada is now down to one team.

The bad news for Canada began Wednesday morning, as Team Forest Park (Hejsa Christensen, Hayden Christensen, Tove Christensen, Bill Travling) withdrew. They had first placed an emergency call, related to tiredness, around 1 a.m. Tuesday. Bbut after resting for 4 hours, they made it to CP4 at 8:40 am, 20 minutes ahead of the cutoff. They trekked down to Suva House to the kayak put-in to beat the 1 pm cutoff there. By 7 p.m., they were off the river at CP5, opting to stay the night with villagers in Beqa.

However on the morning of 16th, heading into the jungle trek leg leading to CP 6, Forest Park calculated they could not make the next cut-off within the necessary 24 hours and withdrew so as not to risk a jungle rescue.
