The Modesto Bee reports: "George Lucas has agreed to be grand marshal of next year?s Graffiti Summer downtown classic-car parade celebrating the 40th anniversary of his breakout movie, ?American Graffiti.? It?s the first time the Modesto-born director, writer and producer has taken such a public role in the annual festivities.
