GamesCom: PlayStation 3 Drops Price $50

IGN reports that effective immediately, PlayStation 3 units have had their price reduced by $50 to $249.99. PlayStation 3 320GB units are now priced at $299.00. This news comes out of GamesCom 2011 and should hopefully come as good news to those looking to pick up a Blu-Ray player just prior to the September 16th release of Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
