On AMC's Sunday Morning Shootout, George Lucas mentor Francis Ford Coppola was talking, among other topics, about sequels which he said in general simply involved making the original movie over again. However, he added at the end of his comments he thought Star Wars was different and that Episode III would be one of the best of the series.
Sunday Morning Shootout comes on AMC at 11 am on Sunday morning. Part 2 of Coppola's interview airs in 2 weeks (April 24th).
Will adds:
He stated directly that sequels should not be made and that they are only the same movie made over and over again. Coppola then switched gears completely and interjected that he didn't think that was true of the new Star Wars film (Ep. III) and that he thought it was going to be quite good.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
