Force-Cast: A Special Announcement Posted By Jason on July 1, 2008
The Force-Cast's own Jason, Jimmy Mac, and the Jawas (Kay and Mark) have officially entered the 2008 Atom Films Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge with their animated short, "George Lucas Hip Hop Awards." Listen in as Jason, Jimmy Mac, Kay, and Mark discuss the making of the film and how you can help them take home the gold at Comic Con's Fan Film Awards Ceremony later this month. Help us Force-Cast fans... you're our only hope. Vote early, vote often!
UPDATE: There seems to be some confusion on how to vote. I know that I was confused. Apparently Firefox 3 users will not see the "Thumbs Up icon" and may be hitting thumbs down. STOP! Don't do that. Open the URL in Internet Explorer or Firefox 2 and you should see both a thumbs up and thumbs down icon. Register or log in and vote. Once your vote is registered it does not appear that you can vote more than once.
UPDATE #2: Ok, so we're learning here. Turns out that the whole thumbs up, thumbs down thing is NOT THE ACTUAL VOTING. See below for the correspondence from Atom Films...
"Voting for the Audience Choice Award does indeed begin today, but we've run into a technical glitch with the voting page, so it's not live on our site just yet. Hang tight. It'll be up later today, so please check back in a few hours. We know you're anxious to get going with the voting, and so are we. We are working as hard as we can to resolve the issue!
When it does go live, atom.com members will each be allowed to vote for one film by clicking "vote for this film" on the voting page at starwars.atom.com. Right now that url is pointing to a page that will be replaced by the voting page.
Good luck and thanks for your patience!"
So...In the meantime, you can still click on the links above to visit Atom.com and get yourself registered. That way, when they have fixed the glitch in the Matrix, you will be good to go to cast your vote. Thanks for hanging in there with us!!!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
