Current Results Fanboys Original Producers Talk New Cut Posted By Mike on March 16, 2008 Our friend Guillaume sent in the following: "Two producers of Fanboys (not the Weinstein ones, the producers who were working on the project before it was pick up by the Weinstein company) have decided to talk about the new cut of the movie on their vodcast. (TriggerStreetTV) First, they think the new cut is not that bad and they hope fans will go see this version to make their own opinion. Second and good news, the cancer version of the film will be on the DVD for sure." In addition, the fellows do mention that the Weinstein boycott will hurt those who put their hearts and souls into the movie much more than it will hurt the Weinsteins. These produces were very much against the changes and still admit that the new cut is a very different film than the original concept. Again, they do admit that the new cut is still a fun film. Oh, well. At this point, I'm sick of the drama so bring on the DVD so everyone can see the cut of the film that they prefer!
