At FilmCon 3, a convention in Madison, Wisconsin next month that TFN will be attending, there's going to be a ton of new fan films showing. We spoke with them recently about some of the ones they will be showing:

Joseph Hillock's (writer/director) of a new fan film entitled "The Skywalkers" will premiere at FilmCon. It's a parody of Star Wars and The Osbournes.

Star Wars Rebel Alliance. A new fan film making it's premiere at the convention. The film by Chris Ricci runs 47 minutes.

"Bolt Lighting" by Patrik Beck. An animated/ live action film about 3 little robots who try to take revenge on their owner.

Jason Miller's "Sith Happens" will debut also at FilmCon. A short film about a Jedi and a Sith lord who play a different game of Tennis.

FilmCon also is proud to show a sci-fi film called "A Model Woman." The budget around $2500.00 went to make this great looking film!

We are also expecting 1 or 2 more for the official entries. Chris Hanel and his team from TF.Net will also be there to do a commentary on their film-"The Formula". We will also be showing the film during the weekend.

For film makers we also have added many new panels. A new update will happen soon on the web site. So if you want to learn how to animate or anything "techy", you will not want to miss this years track for film making.
