txdogbone points out an Official Site update on Episode II:
The seven-reel picture will see release not only in North America, but throughout most of the world on or around May 16. As such, international mixes of the film must also see completion, something that in the past was given a longer lead-time due to staggered release dates. "We've got the international voice-over actors cast for nineteen languages, and the rest will be subtitled," says McCallum.
Editor Ben Burtt has moved out of editorial to concentrate on the film's Sound Design. Cutting the latest footage shot at Elstree Studios is Assistant Editor Todd Busch. "We're very close," says McCallum. "Now, it's just getting the shots from ILM, cutting them in, and making sure that our master is completely in sync with ILM's master."
With each week, a reel of Episode II is printed onto film, and examined as projected. During their stint in London, Lucas and McCallum would review printed film finishes and provide feedback to Industrial Light & Magic. "When we were in London, we had [satellite conference] transmissions with ILM Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Monday nights after we'd finish scoring, we'd always go to the theater and watch the film-outs of each reel projected, make our notes, videotape those notes and send them back to ILM."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
