Star Wars fans, I need your help. I want to know how Star Wars changed your life. Beginning in April, as we count down to Attack of the Clones (May 16), E! Online will run weekly stories from celebs, fans and "real people" about Star Wars, the 1977 film that started it all and influenced a generation.
As for me, my family was stationed on a military base in Okinawa, Japan, that year, but we happened to be in L.A. visiting relatives that seminal weekend. My dad dragged us to a midnight screening of Star Wars at Mann's Chinese Theater on opening day. I don't think I've ever recovered.
We're looking for happy tales or sad missives--as long as it's great prose. So, if you've got a story or know someone who does, please tell us (in 100 words or less): How Star Wars Changed My Life. Just email me. Write now--right now!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
