Death Troopers And Zombie Week At SW.com

Posted By Mike on October 18, 2009

In honor of today's release of Joe Schreiber's Death Troopers, Starwars.com presents Zombie Week. A number of talented Star Wars artists will be having a little fun with the whole Star Wars/horro/zombie theme with some fun new and reimagined pieces. Make sure to keep checking back as the week progresses. The first installment includes artwork from Indika, Spencer Brinkerhoff III, Matt Busch and Katie Cook.

In related Death Troopers news:

-Voting continues for some fantastic fan-made trailers at Suvudu.com until October 22nd.

-Joe Schreiber's book tour starts tonight at Barnes and Noble in Huntington Beach California. More dates here.

-I wonder what that stormtrooper is up to today who had been twittering from a Star Destroyer. I have a bad feeling about this!

-Stomping on Yeti talks with author Joe Schreiber and apparently some of the questions came from the TFN boards. (Thanks Patrick, AKA Ackbar_Van_Gungan)

-Not totally related but still creepy, check out Stephen Hayford's ghost Vader rising from the grave at io9.com.

UPDATE: Starwars.com has added more Star Wars Zombie art to their Zombie Week feature.

In addition, ClubJade.net spotlights some Star Wars zombie costumers from Minneapolis and the MTV Movies Blog is excited for the Death Troopers release.

UPDATE #2: Yet more fun Star Wars Zombie artwork has been added to the main site and check out another interview with author Joe Schreiber, this time with LAist.com.

UPDATE #3: As Zombie Week looks to conclude at the main site, Bonnie Burton provides us with a SPOILERIFIC interview with Death Troopers author, Joe Schreiber.
