Kurt Loder at MTV recently did an interview with the director of the new movie Eastern Promises, David Cronenburg. Apparently, Mr. Cronenberg was another director offered to helm Return of the Jedi. Back when the movie was still titled "Revenge of the Jedi", his lack of enthusiasm may have blown the opportunity.
