While it may look like a run-of-the mill issue of Dark Times long time Star Wars comic fans know the truth! One Hundred and Eight issues ago, in 1998, Dark Horse started a new Star Wars comic, and while that title morphed into Star Wars: Republic and then into Dark Times, the numbering has remained consistent. So, sixteen years after it debuted (as many years between the release of Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace), a consistently numbered Star Wars comic has bested the enviable Marvel Comics run for their Star Wars title (which went 107 issues)!
So congratulations to Randy Stradley, Gabriel Guzman and Doug Wheatley on their current issue that sees Jedi Master K'kruhk saving the few remaining padawans from an Imperial refugee camp. Darth Vader's on his tail, and he and master Zao need to be careful or they too will be purged!
And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi - Prisoner of Bogan #4, as well as Star Wars: Dark Times - Fire Carrier #3.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
