LIVONIA, MI ? At 8 p.m. on Veteran?s Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 join forces with some of Detroit?s best comedians and The Fighting 501st Legion of Stormtroopers to honor the brave men and women who served in the United State military through a unique benefit event: a roast of one of the greatest military minds of all time ? Darth Vader.
In the style of the popular Friar Roasts on Comedy Central, A Roast of Darth Vader will take place at Joey?s Comedy Club in Livonia. The evening will showcase members of the 501st Legion and local area comedians featuring Mike Bobbitt as the roast master.
The cost of admission is $10 per person, All proceeds go to benefit the Fallen and Wounded Soldier's Fund. The show is for adults 18 years and older. Joey's is located at 36071 Plymouth Road in Livonia, Michigan. Reservations can be made by calling 734-261-0555. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
