This is why it pays to follow Reed's Celebration V Twitter feed. On Thursday, a friend of mine suggested that a CV mobile app would be a good idea. I supported the suggestion, as did another friend. After all, it would be great to have panel start times, autograph prices, vendor exclusives, and everything else CV-related contained in one little app on your smartphone. Think of all the printouts you could leave in your room each day!

Well, just a few hours ago we received a reply from Reed, and they have confirmed that a mobile app is in development.




I followed up and asked about platforms. Reed says that the app will be released for the iPhone and the Andoid OS.



This is definitely good news for smartphone owners who want to have all the important Celebration V information in the palm of their hand at the convention.
