Back in June, Chris posted a list of 501st events coming to this August's Celebration V. Starwars.com goes a bit more in depth on one of the particular events mentioned:

"The stormtroopers of the 501st Legion are back at Star Wars Celebration V for what could truly be called worldwide games. The 501st Legion Troop-Athlon, scheduled for Friday, August 13th during Star Wars Celebration V, will bring together groups of armor-clad troopers from all over, for a friendly competitions to see which Garrison will reign supreme.

This is a not-to-be missed, fast-paced competition between teams of fully armored troopers who will race -- or stumble -- their way through a series of challenges that test their skills. Not only their skills, but their skills while wearing armor.

Bring your cameras and your younglings to this event for fans of all ages - featuring everything from an "Ewok Toss" to stormtroopers on Segway "speeders." There will be plenty of prize give-aways throughout the event for lucky audience members."
