John Knoll at Celebration IV!
April 19, 2007

Academy Award winning Visual Effects Supervisor John Knoll will appear at Star Wars Celebration IV this May in Los Angeles. Knoll, who is wrapping work on Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, will present a rare, behind-the-scenes retrospective of the ground-breaking work at ILM.
Knoll's presentation will include shots from the visual archives that document work on the Star Wars original trilogy, as well as his very personal tour of "life on the prequels." Knoll began his work in the Star Wars galaxy as Visual Effects Supervisor for the Special Editions, and continued through The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Fans at Celebration IV can anticipate a special treat, as Knoll plans to include his now-traditional, and highly entertaining, visual effects blooper reel."

Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
