The Hollywood Reporter looks at the number of blockbuster ads that will be aired during the Super Bowl this Sunday, including Samuel L Jackson's "XXX":
And if there was any doubt about who has clout at Sony, that studio will promote Revolution Studios' action crime thriller "XXX," starring Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson, rather than its own potential summer blockbusters "Men in Black 2" or "Spider-Man" (those films may be plugged in pre- or postgame programming, though).
One blockbuster notably absent from the fray will be "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones." Why? "Their awareness is already at 100%," a theater executive summed up. "Why spend the money?" That's a philosophy that filmmaker George Lucas and distributor 20th Century Fox also held in 1999, when they declined to advertise "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace" on the game.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
