Friend of TFN, Brad A., sent us a story from the USA Todayentitled, "Is this a real-life 'light saber?'" Seems as if Homeland Security has been studying their Sci-Fi as they have created a Light-Emitting Diode (LED). The new device actually looks more like a flashlight with a wide head that flashes. According to the article: "It's the latest government effort to develop a non-lethal weapon — in this case, a powerful beam of light that temporarily blinds anyone who looks into it."
Our real-life lightsaber will have to wait, but in the meantime you can click here to check out the story.
Thanks to Brad for the link.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
