Starwars.com updates with the notice the once again Anthony Daniels will be hosting the Celebration:
At Celebration II, Daniels will host in a much different venue -- the Sagamore Ballroom stage at the Indiana Convention Center. The Sagamore, a spectacular, futuristic site, seats up to 3000 guests. It will be just part of an extraordinary setting where thousands of square feet of space will resonate with Star Wars events, activities, displays, demonstrations, contests and more.
Over the course of the three-day Celebration, Daniels will host a wide variety of interviews with many of the stars and crew who bring the Star Wars galaxy to life, helping fans get to know a little more about their favorite actors and artists. Fans will see film clips and presentations from some of the technical wizards behind the saga, and learn how it's all done. And they'll hear all sorts of stories from behind-the-scenes as Daniels fields questions and encourages the audience to be part of the whole event.
"Anyone in the audience is fair game for being made an active part of the presentation. And not joining in is not an option!" warned Daniels, laughing. "But I'm sure they won't mind if I pick on them?in the cause of entertainment, of course."
Who would know better about the art of wearing a costume than the man who managed to act inside the gold metallic suit of C-3PO? Contestants in the gala Celebration II Costume Contest will appear on stage with Daniels, MC of the colorful show, as he introduces and presents their creations.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
