On November 11, 2000, we had the good fortune to be able to meet Michonne Bourriague at the Sci-Fi Expo in Austin, Texas. In attendance at the convention were members of FanForce from Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

This was my first time to meet Michonne. Everyone already knows how pretty she is from her pictures, but I was impressed with how nice she was to all the fans. She took time to chat with everyone and genuinely seemed to enjoy the experience. Not only did she share every detail of her Star Wars experience, but she has also followed Aurra Sing's adventures into the comics and beyond.

Part 1 - 6.2 MB, MPEG File The first question I asked Michonne was probably the most important one - how do you pronounce her name? We also talk about where she's from, then how she got the role of Aurra Sing. She also talks about meeting George Lucas and watching the Star Wars movies as a kid.

Part 2 - 6.2 MB, MPEG File Next we asked what they told her about the character beforehand. She also talks about learning the character's name, secrecy on the set, and seeing Doug Chiang's concept drawings. She also talks about the makeup and costume.

Part 3 - 5.5 MB, MPEG File Did she know her screen time would be so short? Why is Aurra Sing such a big deal? George Lucas also tells her he's going to make her a star!

Part 4 - 1.2 MB, MPEG File Finally, we asked Michonne about Episode II. Will she be back in the new movie?
