UK Midnight Madness at Toys R Us Oldbury

The Wolverhampton Express and Star features an article on the Midnight Madness that occured at Toys R Us in Oldbury. Here's a clip from the article:

A legion of Star Wars fans armed with toy light sabres and laser guns nearly sparked a police alert after being spotted by officers in a patrol car. The fans were out in force to grab the latest toys from the new movie at an Oldbury store.

But bemused officers were unaware of the event and were forced to pull up and investigate. They soon saw the funny side after being confronted by a gang of Stormtroopers, dressed in full outfit. And they even posed for photographs as dozens of fans waited for the toy's store opening.

More than 150 sci-fi enthusiasts queued for hours to grab the official merchandise as doors at Toys R Us opened at midnight.
