NEW YORK (May 18, 1999) - TV Guide Online today announced updates to the site's coverage of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

Starting today, TV Guide Online will team up with Earthcam to feature a live view of the ticket line at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. Through TV Guide Online, users can watch as Star Wars fans, old and new, gather over the next few days and into the weekend in anticipation of tomorrow's opening of The Phantom Menace.

TV Guide Online will post its review of The Phantom Menace on May 19.

TV Guide Online also posted its "World's Hardest Star Wars Quiz" last week. Star Wars fans can test their mettle on 17 multiple-choice questions ranging from the Star Wars Holiday Special in 1978 to references of George Lucas' earlier films in Star Wars.

The site will also post the chat transcript from its chat with Phantom Menace and original trilogy cast member Kenny Baker (R2-D2). TV Guide Online chat transcripts from original trilogy cast members Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) and David Prowse (Darth Vader) will also be posted.

TV Guide Online currently features the TV Guide? Magazine cover story on The Phantom Menace, including Questions and Answers with George Lucas and cast members. The site also features a Phantom Menace film stills gallery with 26 full-color high-quality photos and a montage movie clip from featuring several shots of Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman).

Fans can also send a postcard to their friends, via e-mail, featuring one of the four special edition Phantom Menace covers from TV Guide Magazine.
