Star Wars Is Everywhere: Ep. LXXXIV

Posted By Mike on August 18, 2012

Let's squeeze in one last pre-CVI SWIE post while we have the chance...

PopMatters.com breaks down a variety of abandoned Star Wars plot points.

io9.com brings forth the fantastic artwork of Denis Medri who has recreated Star Wars as a stereotypical '80s teen film.
(Thanks Jay!)

Our friend Kenneth from Piscataway, NJ, sent over the following report from Star Wars Night with the Somerset Patriots.

"Before the game, they ran several clips on the big screen, including the original circa-1977 ANH trailer, the STAR WARS Lego version of the OT, an OT montage (set to "Manamanah"), and a lightsaber duel montage. Afterwards, several movie characters appeared, along with team mascots Sparkee and Slider. They also held a text poll for fans' favorite Jedi; Luke was the winner. The spectators, especially the kids, got a big kick out of it. The only problem was that the York Revolution clobbered the Patriots 7-1."

Thanks Kenneth! Click on the images above for full views of the fun from Kenneth's vantage point.

Yoda is one of many film characters getting the presidential campaign poster treatment at NextMovie.com.
(Thanks Andie!)

CollegeHumor.com presents the Star Wars 30 Rock opening credits. Click here for the video!

Check out the cute "Dork Vader" illustration by Katie Cook courtesy of the Official SW.com Blog.

GeekAlerts.com brings our attention to a new Star Wars logo tote bag being offered at ThinkGeek.com for $19.99.

Trey Laymon has created one heck of a Star Wars-themed vehicle out of his Ford Raptor. Click here for a nice write up, with more images, at Jalopnik.com.

DailyMail.co.uk presents the detailed cardboard Snowspeeder created by Fortyozjuicebox.

Get to know a little about Uncle Milton's new magnet-infused Force Glove at Cnet.com.

And just for fun...
(Thanks Sam!)
