Sallah Not In Indy 4?

According to an artical on Dark Horizons, it looks like the comical character of Sallah from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "The Last Crusade" has not been approached at all about the fourth installment of "Indiana Jones". He was a fun character and he will be missed but given we do not know much about the story yet, who really knows what this will mean in the greater scheme of things.
